6.3.1
A session destination is a temporary log destination which directs entries to the
active telnet or SSH session for the duration of the session. When the session is
terminated, for example, when the user logs out, the event log is removed. Event logs
configured with a session destination are not stored in the configuration file. Event
logs can direct log entries to the session destination.

6.4 Event Logs

Event logs are the means of recording system generated events for later analysis.
Events are messages generated by the system by applications or processes within
the ISAM.
