the signal level is too high and the signal is distorted . Reduce the
volume accordingly .
7) To make another setting, press the knob once again . The icon
changes back to
.
9.3 Assigning inputs /outputs
Like in the view "Matrix" of the control program (
different inputs can be assigned to the outputs of the wall module .
1) Use the knob (x) to select the top row of the display (w) (icon
marks the current line) .
2) Press the knob . The icon changes to

10.1 Renaming a module
To change the name of a wall module DRM-884IOP, connect the
module to the master device DRM-884 . Start the control program in
the "Daisy Chain Network Mode", place a block for the module in
the device configuration, enter the device ID assigned and connect
the master device in the program (
the block of the module to call up the configuration window below:

The default device name is the type name "DRM-884IOP" . "Device
Name" can be used to change the name, for example to a name
specifying the place of installation .
To reset the name to the default name, use "Default" .

The control (l) is used to match the input sensitivity of the microphone
input (k) to the microphone used . When the LED CLIP (n) for A / MIC
lights up, the signal level is too high and the sound may be distorted .
Turn back the control (l) accordingly or/and reduce the gain of the
input channel by means of the control program (
10.3 Activating / Deactivating the phantom power
Some microphones (e . g . condenser microphones) require phantom
power for operation . The switch (j) is used to activate a 48 V phantom
power at the input (k) (position ON) .
Caution: Only activate the phantom power when the audio sources connect-
ed expressly require phantom power . Phantom power may damage any audio
sources with unbalanced outputs . To prevent loud switching noise, only use the
switch when the master device DRM-884 has been switched off or when the
input channel has been muted .
10.4 Signal LEDs
The LEDs INPUT (m) indicate the input signals of this wall module,
the LEDs OUTPUT (n) indicate its output signals . The green LEDs SIG
indicate presence of a signal, the red LEDs CLIP indicate overload, i . e .
a signal level that is too high (signal distortion) .
