A3.1.1 – Visual Changes
While there are no new features added to the V5.2 release there are some feature enhancements and with that, there
will be a new splash screen at the beginning of the software boot up process.
During the initialisation of the system the splash screen will show device detection messages.
A3.1.2 – Feature Enhancements

Upgrade from a previous V5 software release now requires no manual work around. The upgrade will be done
with the use of an installer. This allows seamless upgrade from any previous V5 software release to V5.2.

Due to the technical challenges involved, V4 software should not be upgraded to V5. Customers currently
running V4 software who wish to upgrade to V5.2 will be required to pay for the upgrade and any ASL technical
support

In some of the previous V5 software releases the boot up process may have been slow and laboured. This
process is now much faster and with the addition of the "Device Detection Dialogue" the user can now see
what pieces of hardware within the system are currently being initialised. This can also aid in fault diagnosis,
as any piece of configured hardware which fails at the point will be highlighted.
