5.3 – OIW L
Log files are structured to distribute all analyzer information and data within discrete folders. Each OIW log file contains
three sub folders, as shown in Figure 85, with additional folders containing specific raw data or information in comma
separated value (.csv) format.
The following sections will describe the layout, content and how to view the data contained within the OIW log file
structure.
Figure 85: OIW log folders: 1. Monthly Data Logs, 2. Oil Type Backups and 3. System Logs
All information and data generated by the analyzer are distributed into Monthly logs, System logs and Oil type backup
files.
1.
Monthly Data Logs – these folders contain all data recorded by the analyzer during routine operation. Data is
saved in Monthly folders and displayed in order by year and month.
2.
System Logs – contains a complete record of all the analyzer System Logs during operation. Each event, or
system log, is recorded by date and time including the severity and log description.
3.
Oil Type Backups – a backup of all parameter information required for each specific oil type used to calibrate
the analyzer. This file may contain information for more than one oil type.
