Displaying the Configured FICON State
If FICON is enabled on a VSAN, you can display the port address information for that VSAN (see
the Specified Port Address When FICON Is Enabled, on page

Displaying a Port Administrative State

ficon vsan number portaddress number command displays the blocked state of the port. If a specific port is
prohibited, this command also displays the specifically prohibited port (3) along with the ports that are
prohibited by default (0, 241 to 253, and 255). If a name is assigned, that name is also displayed.
