Switching feature between INTERNAL/EXTERNAL memory
Connection/Disconnection of USB device is indicated in R mode while displaying the date and time. Behind
symbol R/T follow flashing symbol for USB access: C-computer, M-storage, B-barcode reader, K-external
keyboard. Connection is indicated by a short beep tone / disconnection by short double-beep tone.
Storage for operations Export/Import settings and Export of journal is adjustable in the system parame-
ters / Settings / Storage selection as „internal"[Basic memory]/"externalPrivate"/"externalCommon" When
implementation of these operations is set „externalXXX" storage and external device is not connected, re-
ports the error „External storage not found". When setting „internal" will be used internal eMMC.
Because only one External Storage can be used for archiving of all cash registers in the shop, export/import
operations work with their own base directory, which name is the same as the number of cash register, in
combination with the serial number.
With ussing can occur a situation, when export from one cash register will be used as import for another cash
registers in the shop. In this case it is appropriate for „Storage Selection" to use option „externalCommon",
which cause use of base directory with name „00" (existent number of cash register).
Automatic journal export with recording of new software (FW) and own journal export is always directed into
the eMMC.
