  • Page 61 © Elcom Ltd. Euro-2500T Registration mode 4.6 Other registrations 4.6.1 Registration by bar code A. Registration by bar code scanner. A bar code scanner can be connected to the cash register. Information is registered simply by scanning the bar code.
  • Page 62 Registration mode Euro-2500T © Elcom Ltd. 4.6.2 Registration by external PC keyboard The standard PC keyboard can be easily connected to cash register Euro-2500T. External PC keyboard layout. Note: Ask your local dealer for more information on external PC keyboard connection.
  • Page 63 A. PC ON-LINE mode: The data is transmitted from PC to ECR. The Cash register software allows the use of the Euro-2500T as a fiscal printer. The ECR replaces the POS printer and the PC fiscal module. That means that the cash register prints the receipt based on data from your PC software.
  • Page 64 B. PC ON-LINE mode: The data is transmitted from ECR to PC. The cash register software allows the use of the Euro-2500T ON-LINE information source for PC. This allows transmission of the sales data to PC for processing. It allows the preparation of the Invoice or delivery note by the PC according to information from the ECR.

  • Page 71 4.13 Accounting in Euro currency The Cash register Euro-2500T is able to register sales in Euro currency. According to the stage it is possible to account Euro and a particular national currency (stage1. and 2.) or any other foreign currency (3rd stage).
  • Page 72 Registration mode Euro-2500T © Elcom Ltd. Procedure: If the key is pressed, the amount of sale on display is in a national currency. If the key pressed, the amount of sale is converted to Euro currency. Pressing the key again will convert between national and Euro currency.

  • Page 97 8.3 Self tests Self tests of the Euro-2500T register permit checking of its functionality simply and quickly. Self testing permits automatic checking of the functionality of electronic circuits, display segments, keyboard buttons, communication ports and printer.
  • Page 98 The end of the display test is signaliyed by a beep. You can continue testing other parts of the register. 8.3.2 Self-test of the printer The self-test of the printer prints identification data of the Euro-2500T on the receipt and journal. It prints the program version number, cash register configuration (number of departments and PLU) and the complete character set both in standard and double size.
