Hood

To open:
Pull hood release lever (1) u n der the
^ LH side of in s tru m e n t panel to u n ­
lo ck the hood. T his w ill cause han-
V die (2) to com e o u t o f ra d ia to r g rill
(it may be necessary to lift hood up
slightly).

Pull handle (2) c o m p le te ly o u t of
ra d ia to r g rill and open hood to ap­
p ro x im a te ly 45° (w in d sh ie ld w ip e r
arm m ust not be fo ld e d out).
To close:
Push hood do w n on left side (view ­
ed in d riv in g d ire c tio n ). M ake sure
th a t hoo d is se cu re ly locked.
Note:
If the hood is raised to the vertical
p o sitio n , a lo c k in g paw l w ill engage
at the le ft h in g e (viewed in d rivin g
d ire ctio n ).
To lo w e r o r close the hood, press
dow n release lever on le ft hinge.
