T he a ntenna sw itch can be actuated
w ith the radio sw itch e d on and the
key in steee ring lo c k p o s itio n s 1
o r 2.
• If th e an te nna sw itch is in the
ce n te r p o s itio n , the a ntenna ex­
te n ds a u to m a tic a lly to m edium
height,
• if the antenna sw itch is engaged
in the " m ax." p o sitio n , the an­
te n n a e xtend s fully,
• if th e antenn a sw itch is engaged
in the " o ff" p o s itio n , the a n te n ­
na w ill n o t extend or w ill retra ct
co m ple tely.
The h e ig h t o f th e a ntenna can be
adju sted to any in te rm ed iate by ac­
tu a tin g th e a nten n a sw itc h :
• If the an te nn a sw itch is in center
p o sitio n , th e ante n na w ill extend
to m edium he ig ht. The antenna
can be fu rth e r extended o r re­
tra cte d to any h e ig h t by ro ckin g
the sw itch (n o t e n ga ging it).
• If the ante nn a is to be retracted,
e.g. fo r pla yin g cassettes, en­
gage sw itc h in " o ff" p osition.
W hen the key is tu rn e d to steering
lo ck p o sitio n 0 or the radio is
tu rn e d off, the a ntenna w ill re tract
co m p lete ly.
