(1) - Center of the needle
Proper setting
When the needle has risen by 3.5 mm from its bottom dead center as a
result of turning the handwheel in the direction of rotation, the looper tip (2)
must be exactly at the center of the needle (1) - slot C of the adjusting disk.
This setting must also be present in the opposite direction of rotation - slot B
of the adjusting disk.

Disturbance
• Damage to the looper
• Damage to the needle
• Missing stitches
• Thread breakage
Order
Prerequisite:
A straight and undamaged needle has to be inserted
( Operating Instructions).
