K Readout in display:
- Press keys 0 and 8 for the function „Read
measured value block" and confirm the entry
with the key Q.
K Readout in display:
- Press keys 002 for "Display group number
02" and confirm the entry with the key Q.
K Readout in display, e.g.:
- Read off the figures shown in display block 3.
Specification: approx. battery voltage
- Press the → key.
- Press keys 0 and 6 for the function "End data
transfer" and confirm the entry with the key Q.
- Switch off the ignition.
If the specification is not achieved:
Test voltage supply of terminal 30
K - Connect test box V.A.G 1598/22 to the wiring
loom of the control unit.
- Use the multimeter and auxiliary cables from
V.A.G 1594 A to measure the supply voltage
between sockets 2+3 of the test box:
Specification: at least 11 V
Test voltage supply of terminal 15
- Switch the ignition on.
- Use the multimeter and auxiliary cables from
V.A.G 1594 A to measure the supply voltage
between sockets 2+1 of the test box:
Specification: at least 11 V
If the specifications are not achieved:
- Test the cable connections to the relay plate
on the basis of the current flow diagram.
