6.3 Adjusting the back angle
CAUTION
Change in centre of gravity following back angle adjustment
Falling over, falling out of the user due to adjustment errors
X After each modification of the back angle, check the tilt stability� To do so, hold the product with both hands
by the push handle/push bar�
The backrest can be adjusted as needed in a range from 90° to 140°:
1� Pull the catch and turn by 90° (see Fig� 8)�
Æ The lock is released (see Fig� 9)�
2� Open the screw connection so the back angle can be adjusted (see Fig� 10)�
3� Move the backrest forward/backward to the desired position�
INFORMATION: Please note that in the maximum position (lying flat), the footplate must be adjusted so that the us-
er's feet can comfortably reach it�
4� Fasten the screw connection again in order to secure the back angle�
5� Turn the catch back and let it engage�
Æ The back angle adjustment is locked (see Fig� 11)�
