CAUTION
Failure to check for proper functioning
Falling, tipping over of the user due to lack of maintenance
X In the interest of the user's safety, check the product for correct function before each use�
X Please also read the instructions in the section "Maintenance" > "Maintenance intervals"�
CAUTION
Unsecured screw connections
Pinching, crushing, tipping over, falling of user due to assembly errors
X After all adjusting/readjusting work, retighten the mounting screws/nuts firmly� Observe any torque settings
which may be specified�
X Any time you loosen a screw connection with thread lock, replace it with a new screw connection or secure
the old screw connection with medium strength thread locker (e�g� Loctite® 241)�
CAUTION
Improper use of self-locking nuts
Tipping, falling over of the user due to screw connections coming loose
X Always replace self-locking nuts with new self-locking nuts after disassembly�
INFORMATION
Please also observe the safety instructions in the section "Safety" > "Safety instructions for use"�
In the interest of user safety, the following inspection must be conducted prior to use:

Verify firm locking of the seat and back angle adjustment mechanism�
2�
Verify the functionality of all belt buckles on the safety belts and/or positioning aids�

Removing and mounting the seat
CAUTION
Incorrect mounting of the seat
Falling out of the user if the seat is not secured
X Secure the seat using the seat lock�
X When attaching the seat, make sure that it engages into the mobility base�
To facilitate transportation of the rehab buggy in a passenger vehicle or to divide the weight into two units for lifting,
the seat can be easily detached from and reattached to the outdoor mobility base�
Detaching the seat

Stand next to the seat and hold the seat by the top of the backrest with one hand�

Push the seat lock lever forward (see Fig� 7)�
Æ The retaining claw will now release the seat adapter�
3�
Tip the seat back at an angle of approx� 45° and then lift it up (see Fig� 7)�
