5.2 Handing over the product
WARNING
Lack of instruction
Serious injuries to the user due to improper handling of the product
X Instruct the attendants in the safe use of the product when handing it over�
The following steps must be performed for the safe handover of the product:
• Have the user get into the product and perform a trial seat fitting� Pay special attention to proper positioning
according to medical considerations�
• The attendants must be instructed in safe use of the product� In particular, these instructions for use are to be
used�
• The instructions for use must be given to the attendant upon delivery of the product�
• The attendant should acknowledge that he or she has been instructed in how to use the product and was in-
formed of the residual risks�

6.1 Safety instructions for use

Independent modification of settings
Serious injuries to the user due to unallowable changes to the product
X Do not modify the settings established by the qualified personnel�
X In case of problems with the settings (unsatisfactory seating position, caster wheel wobble etc�) please con-
tact the qualified personnel who adjusted your product�
WARNING
Impermissible use
Tipping over, rolling over of the user due to failure to observe specifications
X Using a rehab buggy with the multi positioning seat beyond normal conditions may be dangerous�
X Do not exceed the maximum load capacity (see the section "Technical data")�
WARNING
Incorrect settings
Tipping, falling or malposition of the user due to incorrect adjustment or installation
X Adjustments may only be carried out by qualified personnel instructed by Ottobock�
X Check for safe function before delivering the product�
