14.3 User Accounts Backup
The Horizon Compact Plus system user accounts can be saved to an FTP server. All user account
parameters are backed up, allowing the exact configuration to be replicated.
Use the CLI command: save users ftp:<filename> press Enter
where <filename> is the name of the file to be created on the FTP server. Follow the prompts.
Note that the above command will save the file in the root directory of the ftp server. Adding the path
information to the file name will allow you to save it in a specific directory on the ftp server.
14.4 User Accounts Restore
The Horizon Compact Plus system user accounts can be retrieved from an FTP server. All user account
configuration parameters are restored, allowing the exact configuration to be replicated.
Use the CLI command: copy ftp: <filename> press Enter
where <filename> is the name of the file to restore to the Horizon Compact Plus.
Note that the above command will retrieve the file from the root directory of the ftp server. Adding the path
information to the file name will allow you to retrieve it from a specific directory on the ftp server.
