Sends an IR or RS232 string to the specified device. Use the type parameter to specify
an IR or RS232 code.
Syntax
send id type text
Parameters
id
Type: STRING or MAC Address
The name or MAC address of the device.
type
Type: STRING
Specifies IR or RS232 command

Type: STRING
The string to send. See the table, above, for restrictions.
Description
The string must be the hex representation of the
binary data. The maximum length for a string is 256
characters.
The string is ASCII and must not exceed 256
characters in length. Spaces and the followng control
characters are supported as a portion of the string:
