Structured Append Mode

QR Code offers a m ode c alled structured append (or concatenated) that collec ts data from
m ultiple QR Code symbols and us es that data els ewhere. For exam ple, the com ponents of a sub-
ass embly c an have individual QR Codes and the QR Code for the entire assem bly c ontains all
the data from the individual c odes. This mode also requires certain parameters at the beginning
of all batch data.

Defines the struc tured append mode (D) for QR Code. This is symbol (02) of a concatenated set
containing (05) sym bols. The parity byte is E9. The error correction level is Q, which provides a
high reliability. Use 0 for the mask number. The data input mode is Automatic. The type of
characters are binary (B) and there will be six (06) data characters (qrcode).
