Special Considerations When Using Backfeed
Make a note of the following item s:

Be careful when tearing supplies, becaus e the adhesive can adhere to the printhead or platen
roller.
♦
Backfeed affects eac h label in the on-demand mode or the first and las t label of the batch in
continuous mode.
♦
W hen backfeed is enabled and multiple batches are sent, the printer may not backfeed
between each batc h.
♦
Backfeed should only be us ed to advance labels to the desired dis pens e point.
♦
Backfeed does not interfere with the set supply, print, or margin positions .
♦
If the supply inter-label gap is not between .07 inc h to .15 inch (14 to 30 dots), adjus t the
dispense position and bac kfeed dis tanc e acc ordingly.
