Use the print control pac ket (C) to set the contrast, print, and margin adjustment, print speed,
and image rotation.

Print Control Packet
Print Contrast. Range: -699 to 699. 0 is the default. Using 399 or
higher displays a warning message and tracks high energy
inches . Solid blac k print cannot exc eed 30% of any given square
inch of the s upply.
Print adjustment (position). Adjusts the image's position on the
s upply in the feed direction. Range: -450 to 450 in 1/203 inc h for
203 dpi or 1/300 inc h for 300 dpi. 0 is the default. Increase the
print pos ition to move print up, decrease to move print down.
Margin adjus tment (pos ition). Adjusts where the form at prints
s ide to side on the s upply. Range: -99 to 99 in 1/203 inch or
1/300 inc h for 300 dpi printers). 0 is the default. Inc rease the
margin position to move print to the right, decrease to m ove print
to the left. Margin and print position are format adjustm ents .
They do not affect the supply position, dispense position, or
bac kfeed distance.
Print Speed in inches per sec ond (ips). 0 is the default. The
m axim um print s peed using TuffMark® s upply is 2.5 ips . Options:
0
print at 6.0 ips, formats with serial bar codes print at 2.5 ips

The RFID settings in the Eas y Setup Menu and the RFID Printer
Setup Utility are based on encoding 96-bits of EPC data with a
lock code. If your RFID data is more c omplex than 96-bits of
EPC data with a lock code, you may need to decrease the
printer's s peed in non-s top encode mode. See
RFID
Data" for more information about using a lock c ode.
