RF, +RECT, -RECT or RECTFW.
Adjust where the left side of the display window starts
according to thickness, in inches or millimetres.
Set the overall depth of the viewable measurement area.
It functions a lot like a zoom on a camera.
Toggle between Metric (millimetres) or English (inches)
units.
Adjusts the brightness of the display.
Scale is 0-20 where 20 is the brightest.
Toggles the display refresh raate (60Hz or 120Hz).
The 60Hz option conserves battery life.
Choose the display colour scheme (from a choice of 12).
Conserve battery life by dimming the display after idle for
a specific amount of time: OFF, 30, 60, 90, 120 seconds.
Pressing any key will restore the screen brightness.
Toggles between an outlined or filled view option when
the display setting is in RECT (rectified) wave mode.
RECT measurement screens which shows the detection
point:
Line, Box, Dots, None.
The gauge is a wide band flaw detector with a frequency
range of 1.8 MHz to 19 MHz (-3dB). The gauge also has
selectable narrow band filters at 2 MHz, 5 MHz and 10
MHz.
Increases or decreases the overall amplitude of the
signal.
Gain is similar to the volume control on a stereo receiver.
