To improve stability the machine must be secured to the worktop
after it has been aligned.
Open the door.

Screw the machine to the continuous worktop through the holes in

the front trim on the left and right.
Please contact Miele to secure it at the sides to adjacent cabinetry.
 The gaps between a built-in machine and adjacent cabinetry
must not be filled with silicone sealant as this could compromise
the ventilation of the circulation pump.
A cover plate/worktop protector is available from Miele and may be
advisable, depending on building-in location.
The cover plate protects the lower edge of the worktop from steam
damage.
