How To Lock - VET-PRO VIP 2000 Operator's Manual

The VET-PRO has a unique option, which enables the user to lock out the
numeric keys, so that entered parameters, or set programs cannot be changed
once they are set.
This option is important, for example, to prevent inexperienced staff
unknowingly changing the program; or for operators repeating the same
program every day, it's important to have a lock-out program, to prevent
mistakes in setting.
Level 3 – maximal rate locking
The VET-PRO provides the option of setting a maximal rate in the technician
mode. The program rate can be adjusted up to a preset limit. For home patient
(mainly for TPN or PCA treatments), who must repeat the same program
daily, the option of adjusting the delivery regiment is very important.

How to Lock ?

Level 1 – key locking
Pressing continuously on the info key, untill the
graph is all black and a beep is sounded will lock
the program.
"1" will be shown on the right side of the display, indicating that the
program is first level locked.
Pressing continuously on the info key, untill the
graph is all empty and a beep is sounded will
unlock the program.
Level – program locking
Press info key twice, from stop or setting mode.
Use ARROW keys to scroll to "Adjust Setting"
option.
