Extending Battery Life

When you're not using the device, turn it off, or end the 3G/4G connection. (Click the
Disconnect
button in the home page).
Connect the device, through the USB to Micro B cable, to the AC charger or a computer, and
disable Wi-Fi. See "Disabling Wi-Fi When Connected Through USB" on page 98.
Adjust the LCD — do one or more of the following:
Turn off the LCD. (
Advanced Settings > Device > Display > LCD Backlight
Decrease the brightness of the LCD. (
Settings > On Battery/USB Power
Set the LCD to turn off sooner. See "Setting the LCD Timeout" on page 75.
Configure the setting (for when battery powered or connected via USB) to "Better battery life."

Enable standby (low power) mode. See "Standby (Low Power) Mode" on page 43.
