6. Software Control - Using Lightware Device Controller
6.12.4. System Log
Events logged by the device and report generators can be found on the System log tab.
System log tab in the Settings menu
LDC is able to collect information from the device and display it in a report. The elements of the report can
be sorted by type, time, function, etc, and report tracks can be selected to be displayed in the Show section
on the left side of the panel.
The report can be exported to a file using the Log button. After generating the report, a Save as dialog box
appears. Select the folder where you want to save the report file. The default file name can be changed. This
information package can be sent to the Lightware support team when a problem may arise with the device.
The Error dump button generates a .bin file which can help our developers to investigate the emerging issues.
The file can be saved and sent to Lightware support team.
ATTENTION! Save the file before powering off or restarting the device.
