Identifying the Server by Using the UID Switch

Using the UID (Unit ID) switch helps you to identify the target server.
Be sure to identify the target server by using the UID witch before turning the server off or disconnecting a
cable from the server when the server is running.
Press the UID switch to turn the UID LED on. Each time the UID switch is pressed, turning on and off the LED is
toggled.
Click the UID button (red circle) on the bottom of the EXPRESSSCOPE Engine 3 screen, The UID lamp of the
built-in server module and those in the front and the back of the server light up.
When the UID lamp of the built-in server module lights up, UID lamps in the front and back of the server stay on
even if you press the UID switch of the server.
