AKD 5000
AWG:
Means American Wire Gauge, i.e. the American
measuring unit for cable cross-section.
Manual initialisation:
Press the [CHANGE DATA] + [MENU] + [OK] keys at
the same time to carry out manual initialisation.
60° AVM
Switching pattern called 60° A synchronous
V ector M odulation.
SFAVM
Switching pattern called Stator Flux oriented
Asynchronous Vector Modulation.
Automatic motor adjustment, AMA:
Automatic motor adjustment algorithm, which
determines the electrical parameters for the
connected motor, at standstill.
On-line/off-line parameters:
On-line parameters are activated immediately after the
data value is changed. Off-line parameters are not
activated until OK has been entered on the control unit.
VT characteristics:
Variable torque characteristics, used for
pumps and fans.
CT characteristics:
Constant torque characteristics, used for all
applications, such as conveyor belts and cranes. CT
characteristics are not used for pumps and fans.
MCM:
Stands for Mille Circular Mil, an American measuring
unit for cable cross-section. 1 MCM ≡ 0.5067 mm
