5. Remove five screws that secure the front end board.
Note:
Make careful note of the differing lengths of these screws. The shorter screws are
used in the area of the battery compartment. Be certain they are returned to the same
locations in reassembly.
6. Use a plastic soldering aide (green stick) or other similar non-metal tool to gently pry up the
front end board at the two locations shown in Figure 5- 6. This frees the board from
connectors on the back end board and on the power supply/strobe board.
7. Lift the front end board out of the camera chassis assembly.
Front End Board Installation
To install the front end board, reverse the removal procedure.
Note:
Use gentle pressure to mate the two female connectors on the bottom of the board
to the male connectors on the power supply/strobe board and the back end board.

Power Button Board Removal

1. Remove the top cover.
2. Remove the front end board.
3. Note the orientation of the power button in the camera. Then, push in the button to free it from
the cutout in the chassis and lift the power button board away from the chassis (Figure 5- 7).
