Problem
Power/Battery & Power Adapter/Trickle Charger:
No Power Up
(Power Supply
connected to
battery charger
connection)
No Power Up
(Batteries Only)
Cause
• Defective Power Supply.
• Poor battery charger
connection.
• Damaged or disconnected
IO PC board to Back
End PC board flex.
• Defective IO PC board.
• Battery compartment not
latched properly.
• Batteries loaded incorrectly.
• Battery voltage low.

Diagnostics and Troubleshooting
Corrective Action
• Check output of Power
at connection.
If no output, replace Power
Supply.
If connector damaged,
replace Power Supply.
• Check battery charger
connection on IO PC board..
• Connect or replace IO PC
board to Back End PC
board flex.
• Replace IO PC board.
• Check battery compartment.
If necessary, relatch battery
compartment and power up
again.
• Open battery compartment to
make sure batteries are
loaded correctly. If loaded
incorrectly, reload. See Users
Guide for correct battery
orientation.
• Recharge batteries.
Connect power adapter/trickle
charger to battery charger
connection.
Note: The camera can be
operated while the
batteries charge once
a specified voltage is
reached.
