Transducer Removal

1. Remove the top cover.
2. Note the orientation of the transducer in the housing. Then, lift the transducer free of the
chassis molding, to the limits of its electrical leads (Figure 5- 4).

Disconnect Transducer cable
from connector on Front End
Board
3. Disconnect the transducer cable from the connector on the front end board.
4. The transducer is now free of the assembly.

Transducer Installation

To install the transducer, reverse the removal procedure.
Note: Be certain the transducer is seated in the same orientation as the one previously
removed. Also, as shown in Figure 5-5, be sure to replace the tape over the
transducer connection.
