About Crossbar Management

Cisco MDS NX-OS software supports three types of hardware for the Cisco MDS 9500 Series Directors:
Generation 1, Generation 2, and Generation 3.
Generation 3 includes the following:
• 48-port 8-Gbps Fibre Channel switching module
• 24-port 8-Gbps Fibre Channel switching module
• 4/44-port 8-Gbps Host-Optimized Fibre Channel module
• Cisco MDS 9513 Fabric-2 Crossbar Switching module
Note
The new software features in Cisco MDS NX-OS Release 4.1(1b) and later are not supported in the
Generation 1 hardware.

Enters global configuration mode.
Configures the power supply mode. The default is
redundant.
(Optional)
Displays the power mode configuration.
(Optional)
Copies the running configuration to the startup
configuration.
