SE-1201 Electrocardiograph User Manual
1) Environment:
Make sure that there is no electromagnetic interference source around the equipment,
especially large medical electrical equipment such as electrosurgical equipment,
radiological equipment, magnetic resonance imaging equipment etc. Turn off these
devices when necessary.
Keep the examination room warm to avoid muscle tremor voltages in ECG signals
caused by cold.
2) Power Supply:
If the mains supply is used, please check whether the power cord is connected to the
unit well. The grounded three-slot outlet should be used.
When the battery capacity is low, recharge the battery before use.
3) Patient Cable:
Make sure that the patient cable is connected to the unit firmly, and keep it far away
from the power cord.
4) Electrodes:
Make sure that all electrodes are connected to lead wires of the patient cable
correctly.
Ensure that the chest electrodes do not contact with each other.
5) Patient:
The patient should not come into contact with conducting objects such as earth, metal
parts etc.
Ensure that the patient is warm and relaxed, and breathes calmly.

3.5 Turning On/Off the Electrocardiograph

1. If the integrity of the external protective conductor is in doubt, the equipment should
be powered by the battery.
2. Potential equalization conductor of the unit should be connected to the potential
equalization bus bar of the electrical installation when necessary.
