FUEL TANK AND FILTER CLEANING
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive. You
can be burned or seriously injured when handling
fuel.
• Keep heat, sparks, and flame away.
• Handle fuel only outdoors.
• Wipe up spills immediately.
Drain the fuel into a suitable container.
Remove the fuel tank (1) and fuel tank joint (2)
(page
6-3).
Clean the fuel tank joint and fuel tank with
non-flammable solvent, and allow them to dry
thoroughly.
Install the fuel tank
Check the installation part of the fuel tank for any sign
of fuel leakage.
FUEL TUBE CHECK

Check the fuel tube (1) for deterioration, cracks, or
signs of leakage.
