CRANKCASE
1/2 OR 1/6 REDUCTION UNIT
INSPECTION
RADIAL BALL BEARING
Clean the bearing with solvent and dry it thoroughly.
Turn the inner race of the radial ball bearing with your
finger and check for play.
Replace the radial ball bearing if it is noisy or has
excessive play.
PRIMARY DRIVE GEAR
Check for worn and weakened primary drive gear.
If necessary,

P.T.O. SHAFT
Check for worn and weakened gear of the P.T.O. shaft.
If necessary, replace the P.T.O. shaft
COUNTER SHAFT
Check for worn and weakened gears of the counter
shaft.
If necessary, replace the counter shaft

replace the primary drive
