    STOPPING THE GENERATOR (8.1): Switch off or disconnect all the accessories powered by the generator: then stop the engine after letting it idle for 2-3 minutes to cool down; to stop the generator turn off the switch. With electrically started generators, turn the key to the “OFF” position. ATTENTION: the engine will remain hot even after being switched off: make sure the generator is well ventilated even after engine shut down.
