TROUBLESHOOTING
STARTER MOTOR DOES NOT OPERATE
Check the battery condition.
Normal
Check the battery voltage between the starter
motor side positive (+) battery cable terminal
and engine ground.
Normal
Check the continuity between BAT terminal
(White) and ST terminal (Black/white) of the
combination switch in the START position
(page 11-5) .
Continuity
Check the starter solenoid
Normal
Perform the starter motor performance test
(page 10-10) . If necessary disassemble the
starter motor (page 10-8)
