7. DNS server IP address
IP address of the DNS server used by the
other devices in the LAN
8. Default DNS domain name
Domain name the switch should append to a
string when it makes a DNS query (such as
example.com). The 2350 appends the default
domain name to hostnames you enter in
commands.
9. Certificates
Source and type of security certificates. You
can install the following types of
certificates:
• Administrative—Required to
manage the 2350 using Web
View or WLAN Management
Software
• WebAAA—Required if you
want users to be able to log in to
the WLAN using a web page
• EAP—Required for clients that
use 802.1X
The certificates can come from a certificate
authority (CA) or the 2350 can generate its
own self-signed certificates. Certificates
from a CA are more secure, whereas
self-signed certificates are easier to
configure.
10. Country code
Two-letter code for the country in which
you plan to operate wireless services
11. Local user VLAN
Layer 2 broadcast domain of the local
network. Configure the same VLAN on the
2350 to enable the 2350 to place wireless
users in the VLAN when they log on.

If certificates will come from a CA, you also
need to know the file type that will contain the
certificate:
PKCS #7
or
PKCS #12
If the file type will be PKCS #12, you need to
know the IP address of the TFTP server in the
local network.
For either file type, you also need to know the
CA's URL so you can access it to obtain the
certificate file, but you do not need to enter the
URL in the 2350 configuration.
