3.14 PPTP Tunnel Configuration
PPTP is an unencrypted protocol.
Select the PPTP item in the menu to configure a PPTP tunnel. PPTP tunnel allows pass-
word protected connections between two LANs. It is similar to L2TP. The tunnels are active
after selecting Create PPTP tunnel.

The firmware also supports PPTP passthrough, which means that it is possible to create a
tunnel through the router.
Description
Specifies the L2TP tunnel mode on the router side:
PPTP server – Specify an IP address range offered by
the server.
PPTP client – Specify the IP address of the server.
IP address of the server.
IP address of the local side of the tunnel.
IP address of the remote side of the tunnel.
Address of the network behind the remote side of the tunnel.
The mask of the network behind the remote side of the tunnel
Username for the PPTP tunnel login.
Password for the PPTP tunnel login.
