Please observe the information and recommendations provided in these
operating instructions. Please ensure that the intervals for the inspection,
maintenance and service are complied with. Please ensure that the lamps are
replaced after the specified usage time.
Unauthorized modifications and changes to the device and its control unit are
prohibited. Failure to comply with this voids the operating licence!

Decommissioning

The device must be disconnected from the power supply in order to
temporarily or permanently decommission it.
The legal requirements regarding disposal must be observed when
permanently decommissioning the device.

Storage

Store the devices in a dry, frost-free location with a stable temperature. Once
the device has cooled off, pack it in plastic wrapping to protect it against
scratches.

Declaration –
The JK Corporate Group
The JK Corporate Group is subject to the strict regulations of EC Directive
761/2001 and the standard EN ISO 14001:2004, and undergoes regular
internal and external environment audits performed by trained auditors.
2.11.2
Environmental regulations –
disposal of lamps and batteries
Collagen lamps contain fluorescent materials and other waste products
containing mercury. Batteries contain heavy metal compounds.
Within the European Union the national implementation of the Waste
Framework Directive 75/442/EWG (in Germany the Closed Substance Cycle
Waste Management Act (KrWAbgG)) applies. According to the national waste
disposal laws and in accordance with the municipal waste regulations, proof
must be provided of the proper disposal of lamps and batteries.
Your local sales agency will be happy to assist you with the disposal of lamps
and batteries.
Report the number of lamps and batteries to your local agency by
telephone or in writing.
