RACK AND PINION INSPECTION
•
Inspect the clutch
release
rack and pinion for
wear and
damage.
•
Inspect the
clutch
release arm for
smooth
movement
and
oil
leakage
around the oil seal.
CLUTCH PLATE REASSEMBLING
•
Apply transmission
oil
to the drive
and
driven plates
and
fit
them
.
•
Fit the bearing,
rac
k
and
pressure
plate.
•
Fit the
clutch spring
s, washe
rs and bolts.
•
Tighten the bolts
diag
ona lly.
•
Align
the
clutch
release rack teeth
with
the pinion
gear.
•
Replace
the o-ring with a
new
one.
•
Fit
the
cover
.
•
Tighten the bolts diagonally.
•
Reassemble the rear brake pedal.
