Installation

10.2.1

Starting the charging station

To activate the phone, connect the charging station network cable.
Plug the male connector of the network cable into the
female connector of the charging station then the mains
adapter to a mains socket.
Note:
the charging station does not work if the mains adapter is not plugged or in case of power failure.
A handset placed on the charging station without electrical power supply remains activated and is
discharged in standby mode.
10.2.2

Activating the handset

10.2.2.1 Safety precautions for handling the storage batteries
Read the safety precautions carefully before using the storage batteries for the first time. Keep
within reach these safety precautions and other instructions for use for future consultations.
This device contains Li-ion storage batteries. Failure to respect any of the following safety
precautions while using the storage batteries may result in overheating, fire and explosion.
The storage batteries are attached to the cover of their compartment. Never try to remove the
storage batteries.
Never use another charging station for the handset.
Never try to use the storage batteries to supply electrical power to a device other than this
handset.
Never use or leave the storage batteries close to flames.
Never place the storage batteries in a microwave oven, do not throw them into fire and do not
expose them in any manner whatsoever to strong heat.
Never transport or store the storage batteries with items that conduct electricity (chains,

Safety instruction
Use only the mains adapter (ID No. for Europe: 4515303,
USA/Canada 4516883) meant for the charging station!
