To connect and configure the i7xx set via DHCP server

Attention :
16.3.1
To configure network parameters via DHCP server
Some parameters must be entered in the i7xx sets.
These parameters can be automatically configured via DHCP server using two modes:
Partial DHCP mode,
Full DHCP mode.
To configure an IP set:
Connect the set. After a few seconds, a question mark is displayed.
Enter Prog * 1 for the i740/i740N, or * 1 for the i760 and i780, to display the configuration menu.
The screen prompts you to enter the directory number. Do not enter anything and use the
navigation keys to go to the DHCP Mode screen.
Select a DHCP mode:
-
Press 1 for partial DHCP start mode,
-
Press 2 for full DHCP start mode.
The parameters obtained via DHCP server are:
IP address of the i7xx set and subnet mask
Default gateway IP address
Call server(s') IP address(es)
Downloading server IP address and server port
IEEE 802.1Q tagging: yes (1) / no (0)
If yes:
Number of the VLAN to be used for the voice part,
Priority (0 to 7).
16.3.1.1 IP lease request
When an i7xx set comes online, it checks whether it has an IP address lease. If it does not, it
requests a lease from a DHCP server. As the client set does not know the address of a DHCP
server, it uses 0.0.0.0 as its own IP address, and 255.255.255.255 as the destination address. This
enables the client i7xx set to broadcast a DHCP_DISCOVER address over the network. This
message consists of the MAC (Media Access Control) address, the hardware address integrated
in the network card.
The message "PLEASE WAIT DHCP IN PROGRESS..." is displayed on the i7xx set during the
DHCP session.
16.3.1.2 IP lease offer
When a DHCP server receives an IP lease request from a client i7xx set, it proposes an IP lease
offer. To do this, it reserves an IP address for the client, and broadcasts a DHCP_OFFER message
over the network. This message contains the client's MAC address, followed by the IP address
