• Encryption keys = enter the 32-character CMEK key and the 28-character CMSK key
=> The saved keys are no longer visible (* appears) and a signature (date + edition)
appears, with the functional status "In Service".
For slave sites:
• Operating mode=slave
• Encryption = authorised (or forbidden)
=> Check that the signature (date + edition) is the same as that of the master, and that the
functional status is "In Service".
Limitations:
Voice encryption does not apply to the following products: IPDS (i740, i760, i780 do not have the
necessary software), SIP, H323, I2052, WIFI set, UCP with IP connectivity, conversation recording,
conference with NCP.
The information "encrypted call", displayed on the IPDS (i740, i760, i780), no longer indicates the
full speech path.
In principle, in a multi-site configuration, there can only be one master site transmitting information
to the slave sites attached to it. Since the MMCs do not control this uniqueness=> the operator
must check this requirement by analysing the information returned to the logbook.
Encryption is not applicable in a multi-site configuration if the inter-operation DCF corresponds to a
release below R4.2 (in this case, only an inter-site call with PBX release 4.2 can be encrypted).
