Comparison of i7xx and SIP phone connections

Nevertheless, in view of a different operating mode, the methods of connection to an Ethernet

As a result, an i7xx phone and an SIP phone may be interchanged on the same network socket
only in the following cases:
Phone in standalone mode connected to a port in access mode
Phone in standalone mode with 802.1Q marking on a port in 'trunk' mode

The i7xx phone can mark its

The i7xx phone can obtain its
configuration from a DHCP server,
via the 'Vendor Specific' option
