Certificates and approvals

The devices are designed and tested to meet state-of-the-art safety requirements in
accordance with sound engineering practice. They have left the factory in a condition in
which they are safe to operate. The devices comply with the standards EN 61010 -1
"Protection Measures for Electrical Equipment for Measurement, Control, Regulation and
Laboratory Procedures" and with the EMC requirements of IEC/EN 61326.
The measuring system described in these Operating Instructions therefore complies with the
legal requirements of the EU Directives. Endress+Hauser confirms this by affixing the CE
mark to it and by issuing the CE Declaration of Conformity.
The measuring system is in conformity with the EMC requirements of the "Australian
Communications and Media Authority (ACMA)".

FOUNDATION Fieldbus device certification

The flowmeter has passed all the test procedures implemented and has been certified and
registered by the Fieldbus Foundation. The device thus meets all the requirements of the
following specifications:
• Certified to FOUNDATION Fieldbus specification
• The flowmeter meets all the specifications of the FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1.
• Interoperability Test Kit (ITK), revision 5.01: The device can also be operated in
conjunction with other manufactures certified devices.
• Physical Layer Conformance Test by Fieldbus Foundation
