Tasks
Verify that the appliance is secured in the rack, on top of any storage
shelves.
For the NetBackup 5230 Appliance:
Verify that the two disk drives in slots 0 and 1 in the front panel are

installed securely.
Verify that the eight storage disks, in slots 4 to 11, are installed securely.
■
Verify that the Veritas Storage Shelves, if used with the appliance, are
securely installed. All shelves should be installed beneath the appliance to
prevent the rack from tipping.
