12.2 Projector Suspension

What is provided?
Slots (A) are provided on the four sides of the stacking frame (bottom side) which allow the mounting of four doughty clamps in
combination with a hinge joint.
Consult a professional structural engineer prior to suspending the ceiling mount from a structure not intended
for that use. Always ensure the working load limit of the structure supporting the projector.

How to mount the doughty clamps
1. Refer to the installed trussing to determine the place of the clamps in the slots on the rear of the stacking frame.
2. Push with the head of the cup square neck bolt the leaf spring downwards (1) to slide the bolt head in the slot (2). (image 12-5)
3. Secure the position of the bolt with a washer (3) and nut (4).
4. Turn a second nut on the bolt (later used to fix the hinge joint).
5. Turn the hinge joint (5) on the bolt to the end in a way the hinge joint faces the lens (Forward- or backwards projector pivoting).
6. Secure the position of the hinge joint by tightening the second nut (4).
7. Turn the doughty clamp on the hinge joint fully (6).
