Sealed Engine removal

How to remove the Sealed Engine
1. Proceed to the disconnection of the following cables:
-
Disconnect the Prism switch (3) near the switch itself. (image 8-28)
-
Disconnect the 3 Cables on the formatter interface (2) connecting video data to the formatter boards in the Sealed engine
(image 8-28).
-
Disconnect the shutter cable (6) from the motor and temperature control board. (image 8-29)
-
Disconnect the 3 temp. sensor cables (4) from the motor and temp. control board.

Disconnect the 3 power cables (1) to the formatter boards in the Sealed engine from the formatter power supply (image 8-29).
-
Disconnect the 2 cables (5) to the DMD R & G cooling fan from the SMPS/Fan control board (image 8-29).
-
Disconnect the cable to the Prism cooling fan (5) from the SMPS/Fan control board (image 8-29).
2. Remove the cooling Fan of the DMD Blue, mounted on the sealed engine, by removing the 3 fixation screws (1 to 3). (image 8-30)
3. Remove the 3 screws, securing the sealed engine to the base frame. (image 8-31)
Note: To loosen the screw 3, a long crosshead screwdriver is required.
4. Carefully remove upwards the sealed engine out of the projector (image 8-28). image 8-32)
5. Remove the Shutter assembly from the sealed engine, for reuse on the new one, by loosening the 2 fixation screws. (image 8-33)
