Configuring the management ports

As part of the hardware installation process, you must configure the management ports on both
controllers.
About this task
Configuring management ports includes these major tasks:
• Adding the storage array to SANtricity Storage Manager, using the IP address of the E2700
controller
• Manually configuring the E2700 controller using SANtricity Storage Manager
• Verifying initial connectivity
• Configuring the E5600SG controller using the StorageGRID Webscale Appliance Installer web
page, which is included with the controller
