3-10-7. PSU

1. Remove the transport guide plate (see
section 3-10-5).
2. Remove the 5 connectors and the earth
wire (see the top figure on the right).
3. Remove the lower left cover (see section
3-1-1).
4. Remove the PSU [A] (5 screws, three of
which are under cables on top of the

PSU).

When sliding in the new PSU, take care not
to damage the cables.

Before switching off the power, return the
hard disk head to its shipping position if pos-
sible (see page 1-39).
