The handset option lets you specify if there is a handset connected to your panel.
The default setting is "Hands-free" (that is, no handset).

Press the arrow key to scroll to "Handset" and press the telephone key. The
Handset selection appears.
Use the up or down key to scroll to the "Hands-free" or "Handset"
selection.
Use the "#" key to make a selection.
Press the telephone (enter) key to accept.
Press the info key to return to the previous menu.
